Dungeon Crawl for the Cure is committed to increasing awareness about Neuroendocrine Cancer (NETs), a condition frequently overshadowed by more prevalent diseases. Our central mission revolves around shedding light on NETs, promoting broader public awareness, and cultivating an interactive and enjoyable event that fosters a sense of community, camaraderie, and enjoyment.

Our Goals: Fundraising is our primary focus, with the aim of generating $10,000 in support of the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN). These funds will play a crucial role in furthering research related to NET Cancer, bolstering patient advocacy initiatives, and bolstering general awareness campaigns.

Are you ready to be a part of something extraordinary? We’re assembling a team of dedicated volunteers who will play crucial roles in making “Dungeon Crawl for the Cure” a remarkable success. Explore the roles and find your place in our adventure:

Step 2: Craft Unforgettable Dungeons

Are you a creative genius with a passion for storytelling? Dungeon Designers are the architects of our adventure. Design unique dungeons with maps, puzzles, traps, and encounters that will leave our heroes spellbound. Collaborate with our Dungeon Masters to ensure they’re fully equipped to lead their quests.

Step 3: Secure the Date and Venue

Choose a date and venue that will set the stage for our grand adventure. Your organizational skills will help us find the perfect spot and time for our event.

Step 4: Shape the Online Experience

Develop a user-friendly website that will serve as the heart of our event, providing information, registration, and online donation platforms. Work on integrating a registration system to assign players to specific tables.

Phase 2

Step 5: Recruit Fellow Adventurers

As the Volunteer Coordinator, your role is to build our team of heroes. Recruit Dungeon Masters, event staff, and other vital volunteers. Provide training to ensure everyone understands the event’s mission and their unique roles.

Step 6: Fuel Our Quest

The Fundraising Coordinator’s mission is to set up online fundraising platforms and inspire participants to create their fundraising pages. Promote exciting challenges and rewards to keep our heroes motivated.

Step 7:  Sound the Trumpets of Adventure

Take up the mantle of Marketing and Promotion to spread the word far and wide. Utilize social media, newsletters, and local media outlets to promote our event. Highlight the remarkable dungeons and the noble cause we champion.

Phase 3

Step 8: Prepare for the Great Day

On the event day, the Logistics Coordinator ensures tables are set up and materials are ready. You’ll be instrumental in bringing our adventure to life.

Step 9: Be the Beacon of Gratitude

Join us in acknowledging and thanking our heroes – participants, donors, volunteers, and sponsors. Share the incredible impact we’ve made on the cause.

Phase 4

Step 10: Reflect and Continue the Quest

After the event, evaluate its success and identify areas for improvement. As we continue the fight against cancer, send out thank-you notes, certificates, and continue to collect any outstanding donations.

  • Event Organizer: Lead the charge as our overall event coordinator and the go-to person for all things related to the event.
  • Dungeon Masters (DMs): Become the storytellers of our epic quests, guiding adventurers through thrilling D&D tables and dungeons.
  • Dungeon Designers: Craft the worlds and challenges our heroes will face. Create maps, puzzles, monsters, and storylines for unique and unforgettable dungeons.
  • Fundraising Coordinator: Manage the vital fundraising efforts, from online donation platforms to sponsorships and incentives.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Be the voice of our event, spreading the word through social media, flyers, and various channels.
  • Volunteer Coordinator: Play a pivotal role in recruiting and managing volunteers for diverse roles, ensuring our team is ready for action.
  • Logistics Coordinator: Make sure everything runs smoothly on the big day by ensuring all equipment and materials are readily available.
  • Treasurer: Safeguard our finances, track donations, and ensure transparency in all financial matters.
  • Data Manager: Keep records of player progress, donations, and event-related data, helping us measure our impact.
